Travelling to Singapore is always a learning journey. When I meet friends like Peter Sim, I learn so much. Singapore has given me tremendous opportunities, the opportunity to work with world class organizations such as Singapore Airlines. I have been privileged to meet some very successful people. They are really authentic, and I have just appreciated their genuine friendships.
I have been lucky indeed to have had the opportunity to meet Peter Sim, the Founding Chairman of HRnetGroup. Both of us are passionate about human resources development being professional social work graduates. We both lead public listed corporations. The similarity ends there. 😊
He leads HRnetGroup, a corporation with a market cap of about one billion S$. He loves exotic and healthy food. He lives in the present acknowledging the Power of Now (as Eckhart Tolle says). I was honoured to be invited when his company was being listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. He has been generous with his support introducing me to grate friends such as Mark Samlal of PayGroup resulting in a M & A with us; PayGroup acquired the amazing HR software TalentOz.
He listens to all scholars and shares the message in a very simple way. Ever willing to assist, he is simply wonderful. I have had the pleasure of meeting him and his able CFO Jennifer Kang on may occasions. Every meeting with Peter is a learning opportunity.
